5K Run/Walk for Tyler

Tyler was killed in a tragic accident in 2006. His friends and family have organized this annual event to give to his
community in his honor. "Tyler was a devoted teammate and a brother. He had a true love for the game of football.
His hardworking, never quit mentality is a perfect example that any North Forsyth Raider should follow," Cherished
words from the Senior Football Players Class of 2009. Registration starts at 7am and run starts at 8am.

Annual Summer Performance

Town Center Park in Suwanee, GA will go "Under the Sea" during the Suwanee Performing Arts' (SPA) summer performance
and fundraiser, Broadway in Park (BIP), featuring Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr. Filligan's Island, a one act take
from Gilligan's Island, will begin at 7pm. Children will love the "Under the Sea" Tea and meet and greet with Ariel and friends that begins the festivities at 10:30am in Town Center Park. Tickets must be purchased in advance: $25 per child. Call SPA at 770-821-7654 to reserve seats. Admission to the shows is free, but make either day a family day at the park. Arrive early to claim seats near the front and participate in the Island Market featuring vendors and activities similar to a port for cruise ships from 4-7pm and dine at local restaurants. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

You've not seen Snow White quite like this before! Come and experience the classic Grimm's Fairy Tale based on the 1912 Broadway production, but re-imagined with original music, a colorful cast of characters, and a touch of steam punk to awaken your fancy.
Appropriate for children of all ages, Snow White runs Thursday, July 26th at 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 28th at 2 p.m. at West Forsyth High School (4155 Drew Road, Cumming GA 30040). Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Get your advanced tickets at theperformerswarehouse.com


Movies in the Park

Movies in the Park returns to Cumming this July at the Cumming Fairgrounds presenting "The Three Stooges", thanks in part to sponsors Northside Hospital Forsyth, Southern Outdoor Cinema and the Cumming Fairgrounds. Movie activities include children's activities, inflatables, face painting, Loveys Funtastist Kids Show and concessions. Some activities may have a small fee. This even is RAIN or SHINE (in case of rain, the movie will be held under the arena). Pre-movie festival begins at 7pm, Movie begins at sundown.
