The Brookwood Farmers' Market is excited to announce the kick-off to its third season. The market is moving from the Brookwood Elementary School parking lot to the brand new Caney Creek Preserve Park! Caney Creek Preserve also boasts a dog park, walking trail, shaded playground, pavilions, restroom facilities, parking and a natural outdoor amphitheater. Forsyth County has slated the Grand Opening of the park to take place Friday, June 9th in conjunction with the Brookwood Farmers' Market kickoff! Of course this is a tentative date, an updated release will be sent upon final word. Enjoy a great season of sharing natural, local, organic goods and products with neighbors and friends. "Defining beauty is problematic, so is defining sculpture," says the artist. "My recent work is an investigation of the fragile boundaries that separate beautiful from grotesque. My curiosity lies in opposites that share similar qualities. Cheap becomes classy, bland becomes bright, bulge becomes gaunt, and all is turned inside out." The gallery is located on the second floor of the main building in the Callanwolde Mansion. Viewing hours are from 10 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday.
