12 years of financial planning experience

Curt Mangold, CFP's Biography

Serving as a financial planner since 2000, Curt recognized that there was an "advice void" as it pertained to making college more affordable for families. Financial Advisors, Accountants, and Guidance Counselors provide some degree of assistance in this area, but none truly specializes in helping a family to reduce the cost of college or to become eligible for more financial aid.

Curt is the President of Paradox College Funding which specializes in helping to make college more affordable
for families, without jeopardizing their retirement or compromising their present standard of living. Paradox College Funding draws upon many resources to bring expert solutions to our clients, tapping the collective wisdom of CollegeBoard, Attorneys, CPAs, and College Planning Relief Inc., among others. As a Certified Financial Planning professional, Curt has extensive experience in approaching a family's unique situation holistically and then recommending solutions that are both timely and appropriate.

Curt graduated from The University of Georgia in 1989 with coursework in business, risk management and advertising. He later attended Oglethorpe University, where he completed an advanced 18-month Financial Planner Program. Over his career, he gained valuable professional experience while affiliated with Raymond James and employed at Merrill Lynch and Citigroup/Smith Barney.

A native of Atlanta, Curt and his family reside in the Johns Creek area. He and his wife Dianne have been married since 1997 and have two sons.
