Alpharetta Pediatrics: Where KIDS are Special (and Parents Too)!

Dr. Bleekrode examining Berkley
At Alpharetta Pediatrics, Dr. Laura Bleekrode and Dr. Susan Traxler go above and beyond your expectations at each visit to make sure that both you and your child feel at home.
Compassion
Being the mother of 8 children herself, Dr. Bleekrode has experienced a lot as a parent, giving her tremendous insight and compassion for her patients and their families. Dr. Traxler, with 2 small children of her own, shares the recent understanding of being a new parent. The doctors and staff actually know every child's name, and greet them personally at each visit. "When a patient comes through the door, we treat them as though they are the only patient." - Melissa Ivie, Cumming Office Manager
Consistent Care
Alpharetta Pediatrics is a small practice, so you will never be treated like a number. They strive to make sure that receiving care for your child is not an added stress. They understand that, sick or well, waiting hours for an appointment can make a bad situation worse. They offer two locations, same day appointments from 8:30am to 4:30pm, and accept all major insurance. The doctors, along with their dedicated staff, strive to provide consistent, quality care in an environment that is always comfortable, friendly and familiar.
Communication
The doctors take time to listen to your concerns and questions as a parent, supporting each family in a personal way. Their open line of communication also includes personalized services, such as "Meet the Doctor" sessions for new or expecting parents and those looking to switch practices. While they support the current recommended vaccine schedule, they are open to alternative vaccine schedules for those parents who voice a concern. They want every family to feel comfortable asking questions and to know that Alpharetta Pediatrics is there to watch over your children.
