I know some who would go to an Arts and Crafts show every day if they could. If that's you, this list is for you.
12-02 and 12-03: Apple Annie's Arts & Crafts Show, Marietta, GA at Saint Ann's Catholic Church (135 booths)
12-02 to 12-06: Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation's Holiday Market, Watkinsville, GA at 1902 OCAF Art Center (80 booths)
12-02 to 12-11: Christmas House Arts & Crafts Show, Mableton, GA (Cobb County) at Mable House Arts Center (55 booths plus tea room, silent auction, concerts)
12-03: Brunch with Santa & Holiday Expo, North Forsyth High School, Cumming, GA at NFHS (75 booths)
12-03: Second Flowery Branch Christmas Rock N Stroll, Flowery Branch, GA downtown (50+ booths, carolers, storytellers, music)
12-03 and 12-04: Traditions Arts & Crafts Show, Dalton, GA at North Georgia Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall (40 exhibitors, dance groups)
12-03 and 12-04: The Marketplace, Athens, GA at The Georgia Center (70 booths, children's chorus)
12-29 to 12-31: Jekyll Island New Year's Bluegrass Festival, Jekyll Island, GA at the Convention Center (details sketchy at this time)
Note: At press time, these events were a "go". Please verify before you drive an hour or more and are disappointed by an event's being canceled. Call the CVB (Convention and Visitors Bureau) or Chamber of Commerce in the city or county where you are headed to verify information or call the venue to verify the event is still scheduled there. To find any event online, put the name of the event in your search engine and it should pop up on the first page.
Also, don't forget our friends up at exit 17 at Kinsey Family Farm. You can tromp out and choose your own tree or pick one already cut. They've got ten varieties of trees, including a Concolor Fir and a Blue Ice Cypress. Roast a marshmallow, drink some hot chocolate and pet the Oreo cows, too.
